The badminton court is rectangular, with all lines 4 centimeters wide. There should be no obstructions within 12 meters above the court and 4 meters around it. The net in the center of the court is 1.524 meters high, and 1.55 meters high at the doubles sidelines.
A standard badminton court is a rectangular court, 13.40 meters long, 6.10 meters wide for doubles, and 5.18 meters wide for singles. All lines on the court are 4 centimeters wide; measurements should be taken from the outer edge of the lines. Court boundaries are best marked with white, yellow, or other easily identifiable colors. According to international competition rules, the minimum vertical clearance above the entire court is 9 meters. Within this height, there must be no beams or other obstructions, and there must be no obstructions within 2 meters of the court's perimeter. A minimum distance of 2 meters should be maintained between any two adjacent courts. Walls surrounding the court should preferably be dark-colored and free from wind.
The shuttlecock weighs 4.74-5.5 grams, with 16 feathers inserted into a hemispherical cork base. It is 68-78 mm high and 58-68 mm in diameter and is graded from 1 to 10. The total length of the racket frame does not exceed 68 centimeters, the width does not exceed 23 centimeters, the racket stringing area length does not exceed 28 centimeters, and the width does not exceed 22 centimeters.
